Anwar looks on as Prime Minister in Pardana Putra

Putrajaya, November 25 – Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim officially began his work at Perdana Putra here today.

His arrival at the main block of Bangunan Perdana Putra, which houses the Prime Minister’s Office, was received at around 9.55am by Tan Sri Mohd Juki Ali, Chief Secretary to the government.

Also present were Director-General of the Public Service Department Datuk Seri Mohd Shafik Abdullah, Attorney-General Tan Sri Idrus Haroon, Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Akrill Sani Abdullah Sani and Army Chief General Tan Sri Zamroz Mohd Zain.

He also interacted with civil servants awaiting his arrival in the lobby of Perdana Putra.

Anwar, 75, was sworn in as the 10th prime minister yesterday before the Yang di-Pertuan Agong Al-Sultan Abdullah Riyatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah.

In his first media conference as prime minister, Anwar stressed that a unity government with the participation of several parties was formed to ensure the stability of the country and economy, as well as to uphold the spirit of the federal constitution. .

He said the three biggest constituents of the unity government are Pakatan Harapan (PH), Barisan Nasional (BN) and Sarawak Party Association (GPS). – named
