Ayodhya to give major boost to tourism, open five-star hotel near Ram temple

Online travel company EaseMyTrip has announced a five-star luxury hotel project in the temple town of Ayodhya, which is expected to grow 10 times after the ‘Pran Pratishtha’ ceremony at the Ram temple.

Rikant Pitti, co-founder of EaseMyTrip, said the hotel is less than a kilometer away from the Ram Lalla temple.

“This joint venture represents up to $100 Crore investment through Jeewani Hospitality Private Limited to lead this visionary project. ” ANI quoted him as saying.

EaseMyTrip aims to “redefine” the hospitality experience for pilgrims and tourists in Ayodhya, the holy city located on the banks of the Sayu River in Uttar Pradesh.

Pitti added, “This project is a collaboration between EaseMyTrip’s rich travel expertise and Jeewani Hospitality’s hospitality excellence to elevate the standards of luxury accommodation in Ayodhya. It marks EaseMyTrip’s strategic expansion and its commitment to enhancing The Promise of Indian Tourism.”

Peaty added that the company is committed to providing “unparalleled travel experiences” and improving the country’s tourism infrastructure.

“Our upcoming five-star hotel in Ayodhya reflects our commitment to providing luxury, comfort and cultural experiences to visitors to this historic city,” the co-founder added.

On January 22, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi presided over the “pran pratishtha” or consecration ceremony of the Rama temple. Ayodhya witnesses a massive influx of devotees from India and across the world.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has set a target of making Uttar Pradesh a trillion-dollar economy in the next five years.According to a government spokesman, the state government expects the tax to be collected in $25,000 crore in the next financial year.
