India reports 13,405 new cases were reported in the last 24 hours; Daily Positivity rate at 1.24%

Fresh cases continued to decline as India  reported 13,405 new cases  in the last 24 hours according to the data released by Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. The data suggested a declining trend in Coronavirus cases with falling number in fresh cases and active case load going down. The Daily Positivity rate is reported was at 1.24 per cent over the period.

Meanwhile, Weekly Positivity Rate in the country currently stands at 1.98 per cent, the release said.

India’s Active Caseload is presently at 181,075. Active cases constitute 0.42 per cent of the country’s total Positive Cases. 

According to the government data, 34,226 patients have recovered in the last 24 hours and the cumulative tally of recovered patients (since the beginning of the pandemic) is now at 4,21,58,510.

Consequently, India’s recovery rate stands at 98.38 per cent, the release said.
