A woman killed her husband with the help of two lovers in Malihabad district on Wednesday night.
“The accused woman Rekha, 32, wife of 35-year-old Pradeep, and her two lovers, Sonu Pal, 30, and Raju Raidas, 25, were booked under IPC 302 (murder) and various sections of CrPC He was arrested after the case, said DCP West, Durgesh Kumar, adding that the accused has been produced in court.
The incident came to light after the police received a call early in the morning informing them that the body of a man with his neck slit was found in a pool of blood in his room in Kushpuri area within the limits of Malihabad police station.
According to the deceased’s family, the deceased’s wife and her three children slept in the same room where the man was killed.
“After the police arrived, when questioning the family members, they found that the deceased’s wife was having an affair with Sonu Pal and Raju Redas from the same village, and that the two men often visited their homes. The deceased and other family members knew about their affair. extramarital affair and would turn against her,” police said.
During interrogation, the accused confessed to the crime and told police that Pradeep saw them in a compromising situation with his wife.
The DCP further explained that the accused was in a relationship with Rekha for about 5 to 6 months and both of them used to sneak into Pradeep’s house.
When the deceased and his father came to know about this, the three hatched a plan to kill Pradeep. “On May 8, Rekha called both of them over. Raju brought sleeping pills and an axe. Pradeep’s dinner was laced with sleeping pills and he fell asleep. Then Sonu caught him Raju hit Pradeep several times with an axe, while Rekha stood guard to see if anyone was coming,” the DCP added.
