Natasha Poonawalla turns heads at Met Gala in custom Margiela outfit

For her Met Gala appearance, Natasha wore custom pieces from Maison Margiela’s handcrafted collection designed by the legendary John Galliano. Her garments showcased the designer’s artistry with a deft blend of sculpted bodices, ripped fabrics and intricate embellishments. Her ensemble featured a sculptural white strapless sweetheart-neck sheath dress with sheer black ripped chiffon details that added a touch of drama.

Her choice of accessories was as chic as her overall look, a white hat embellished with crystals, Christian Louboutin heels and large pearl stud earrings. She completed her look with a matching white bag, also layered in black chiffon. The intricate details of her outfits are a testament to her impeccable taste and attention to detail.

Her glam look included silver glitter eyeshadow, dark bold winged eyeliner, mascara-coated lashes, deep eye shadow, rosy cheeks, glowing highlighter, chiseled cheekbones and a pop of red that added a pop of color lipstick. Herc’s luscious hair was styled into a chic bun and she wore a stylish white hat. Poonawalla’s outfit featured layers of black chiffon that resembled ancient spider web garments, an ode to this year’s theme “Sleeping Beauty: Reawakening Fashion.”

Earlier, Poonawalla paid homage to the theme by wearing a piece from Victor and Rolf’s Autumn/Winter 2018 collection. The outfit was a literal interpretation of Sleeping Beauty, showing a white silk quilted coat with pillows in place of the collar. Complementing the look, Poonawalla sported fiery red hair, styled by hairstylist Eugene Souleiman, that was reminiscent of someone just waking up from bed. Featuring a tulle overlay and embroidered dried flower petals, the garment complies with the event’s “Garden of Time” dress code.
