Prince William and Kate Middleton are preparing for their first visit to the US since 2014, with an appearance planned in Boston. Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will also be hitting the East Coast soon, and many are wondering if the brothers have any plans to see each other again.
William and Kate are ‘extremely excited’ for the trip
William and Middleton are due to arrive in Boston on November 30 and spend three days in the city. The couple will visit Boston City Hall, the Center on the Developing Child at Harvard University, and the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library and Museum.
The tour will end with the Earthshot Awards ceremony. Earthshot is the environmental charity of the Prince of Wales. The awards presented at the ceremony recognize those who are making great strides in sustainability and tackling climate change.
A source close to the couple said they are “both extremely excited to travel” — their first since 2014 when they stopped in New York City. “They feel and appreciate the warmth and enthusiasm of the American people to return to America and are genuinely looking forward to meeting as many people as possible,” source continued,
Harry and Markle are also heading to the East Coast
William and Middleton aren’t the only royals set to attend an awards ceremony in December. Harry and Markle are being honored with the Robert F. Kennedy Ripple of Hope Award at this year’s Ripple of Hope Awards Gala.
“The couple has always stood by their desire to speak out and change the narrative on racial justice and mental health around the world,” Kerry Kennedy said about the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, The Ripple of Hope Awards Gala will be held on December 6 in New York City.
Will they see each other?
Even though Harry and William will be only a few hours apart from each other, it seems unlikely that they will meet. The Prince and Princess of Wales’ visit is a short one, and the couple will fly back to England after the Earthshot Awards ceremony. Which means she’ll just miss Harry and Markle when they travel from California to New York for their awards ceremony. Both William and Harry are dedicated to their humanitarian work, so it’s no surprise that the brothers are gearing up to attend important events in the coming month.
