The alleged incident took place at the Rajiv Chowk metro station on Friday night. The teenager shared his ordeal on social networking platform X.

The boy wrote in a series of posts, “I have just been attacked at the Rajiv Chowk station of the Delhi Metro. I am a 16-year-old boy traveling alone in the metro.”

The boy said that he boarded the Samaypur Badli-bound train from Rajiv chowk station between 8:30 and 9:30 pm.

The boy claimed the man tried to touch his private parts.

“As soon as I entered the train I felt something on my butt but I put it aside thinking it was someone’s bag or someone touched me by mistake but I was wrong… I was scared,” he posted below Zhong said.

Delhi Police said they were investigating the matter and were trying to approach the boy.

The boy said he got off the subway and was escorted to the next train by a guard, but the man chased him.

“When I got to the station I got out of the car and tried to walk in the opposite direction to try and trick him, which worked for a while but eventually I had to walk to the yellow line and he caught me on the way. I Get in the car and ride the escalator as fast as you can,” he said.

He said the man touched him a third time. “I had enough, I grabbed his hair and clicked his photo. I was scared and shaking but I did it. I waited there for a while after that and he tried to argue but nothing happened ,”He said.
