Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday expressed confidence that the Bharatiya Janata Party will win 370 seats in the Lok Sabha in 2024. Following criticism from the Congress party over how he quoted exact numbers ahead of the elections, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday circled around the word “370” . When he mentioned Article 370, he clarified that he was not talking about the number of seats but about the Article which was repealed by the BJP. As soon as Prime Minister Modi said this, the members of the Bharatiya Janata Party burst into laughter. Prime Minister Modi responded to the debate on the motion of thanks in the Lok Sabha on Wednesday.
Prime Minister Modi had earlier said in his reply to the debate on the motion of thanks in the Lok Sabha that he could feel the mood of the voters and that the NDA would exceed 400 seats, while the BJP would definitely exceed 370 seats. Prime Minister Narendra Modi also mentioned Modi 3.0 on Wednesday, saying that his government’s third term is not far away.

Responding to PM Modi’s earlier 370 remarks, RJD MP Manoj Jha said that if the PM quoted the exact number, it means the EVM has been set. “As Prime Minister you can say you will return to power with an overwhelming majority. An exact number like 370 breeds skepticism. If you dream of 370 seats and don’t even deliver on your promise, then I don’t think democracy is healthy. In 2014 , you promised to provide 20 million jobs every year. 10 years later, the number reached 200 million. Have you even provided 2 million jobs? On one hand, you said that you have helped tens of millions of families transcend BPL, but on the other On the one hand, you are offering Jha: “Prime Minister Modi cannot explain this dichotomy, but he can definitely control the headlines. “
Congress Lok Sabha leader Adil Ranjan Chaudhry also asked: “How did Modi know before the election that there would be 370 seats? If they remove Article 370, it means you will get 370 seats. I think there’s some secret EVM hidden in this.”
Congress leader Mallikarjun Kharge had earlier mentioned that the BJP would get 400 seats in the elections. “You have a majority, 330-334 seats. This time, it will be more than 400.” Hager said sarcastically. Prime Minister Modi also used the “400 paar” comment and said it was a blessing from a “khargeji”, which he wholeheartedly welcomed.
