“Does Amit Shah’s son know how to hold a bat? But, he is the BCCI president. PM Modi wants to be re-elected for a third time at 73 and ‘Jawan’ will retire at 21? These People are ‘ghor parivaarwaadi’,” news agency ANI quoted Singh as saying.

He later claimed that the BJP was for his close family and friends, while the DAP was for the country. “PM Modi, Amit Shah and the BJP have no other job than to help families and friends grow… We work for the country and they work for their friends,” he added.

The BJP and opposition parties including the Congress, RJD and SP have been at loggerheads over accusations of indulging in dynastic politics.
