Jacqueline urges immediate intervention
In her letter, Jacqueline urged the police chief to intervene in the matter immediately. She said it threatened her safety and jeopardized the integrity of the legal process. She urged that Sukesh be booked under IPC sections to ensure her protection as a prosecution witness in Maharashtra Control of Organized Crime Act (MCOCA) cases.
“These actions not only violate my personal rights; they strike at the heart of our justice system. The principle of witness protection that is the foundation of justice is compromised, undermining the credibility and effectiveness of our legal institutions.
