School examinations will start from next month and while there is a shortage of teachers in the schools, the teaching work has also not been done properly and now Sheikh Chilli officials of the Education Department have organized a training session to explain the new policy to the teachers. This work was to be done at the beginning of the academic session which is being done before the examinations.
An order has been issued by the State Education Center that training is to be given in four different phases for teachers from classes VI to VIII. This has already started, there is shortage of teachers in the classes, now the teachers are not only worried about the training before the exams, it is now difficult for the students to complete the course. The board examinations for classes 5th and 8th are to start in the month of March, before that the examinations for classes 3rd to 6th will start at the end of February. On behalf of the State Education Center, all the District Project Co-ordinators have been instructed that it is mandatory to give training to all the teachers regarding vocational education and new education policy, in such a situation when teachers are needed in the class room but they have to work from morning to evening. There is a lot of resentment due to this order that teachers have to spend up to 1000 hours of time in training, but the order is being followed and teachers have to sit in training instead of teaching. There are almost dozens of schools in Indore district where the number of teachers is only two or three. In such a situation, students are being taught by organizing combined classes and after the training has started, an atmosphere like a holiday is being created in some schools. .
Training is being given to hundreds of teachers of the district
According to the information received from the Education Department, training has been started at different block levels. 40 teachers have been kept in between. Training of 1200 teachers is to be given in Indore district. Arrangements have been made for this so that studies in the classes are not affected. This is being taken care of.
Training will take place in four phases
- First phase – 8 to 12 January
- Second selection – 16-20 January
- Third phase – 21 to 25 January
- Fourth phase- 29th to 2nd February
